IGOR is the first studio album by Tyler the Creator to ever top the billboard 200. Most would attribute this to Tyler's excellent sound engineering, production, and song writing (all of which were done by himself). While this is certainly true, Tyler's creation of this unique album goes farther than his efforts to manufacture it; this album is suggestively apart of him. Multiple points of interest can be made when analyzing the parts of this diverse production. The symbolism of Igor in his original incarnation as it relates to Tyler's vision, the projection of Tyler in these songs, and the telling of this story from a new persona of Tyler all have glaring implications to the delivery of the hit, IGOR . The character "Igor" throughout film is typically a hunched back assistant to a dedicated evil scientist. Igor is often manipulated and controlled by his master in each respective film he appears.
